NDIS Provider Portal and New Complaints Form: What's Coming Under the DART Program

The NDIS Commission's Data and Regulatory Transformation (DART) Program had two updates this month — one live now, one still on the way.

**A simpler way to report issues, live now**

The Commission has launched a new, user-friendly complaints form on its website, making it easier for participants, families and providers to report an issue or lodge a complaint. According to the Commission, the information collected through this form will help it identify risk more quickly and consistently — which, in turn, supports faster and more targeted regulatory action across the sector.

**A new Provider Portal, coming later this year**

The bigger change on the horizon is a new Provider Portal, designed to bring registration, re-registration, notifications, reportable incidents and behaviour support plans into a single, modern online system — replacing the current patchwork of separate processes.

To help providers prepare, the Commission has launched a Provider Toolkit, including an introductory video and a fact sheet covering what's changing, key dates and where to get help. More resources — including step-by-step guides, how-to videos and Easy Read versions — are being added progressively.

A webinar series is also underway, starting with an introductory session and followed by dedicated sessions on registrations, reportable incidents and positive behaviour support. Auslan-supported sessions are available, and recordings will be added to the Toolkit for anyone unable to attend live.

**How to stay in the loop:** the Commission recommends registering interest in its Provider Portal mailing list to receive webinar invitations, portal updates, and early notice of DART Program feedback opportunities as they open.
